Helen Ceri Clarke

Helen Ceri Clarke is a local campaigner from Skewen

She previously contested the Neath constituency for the Assembly in 2003 and Swansea East in 2007.

She was formerly an active campaigner in the Swansea East area and in the last local elections she narrowly missed out winning a seat in Morriston off Labour, polling over 1440 votes.

A former traffic warden, she now works for Peter Black AM as a caseworker. Helen has also worked as a special needs one-to-one classroom support, an administrator for the Welsh Liberal Democrats and in sales for a polythene company.

Helen has been an active member of the Liberal Democrats for many years and is currently chair of Aberavon and Neath Liberal Democrats. She has held posts on the party's policy committee and national executive committee.

Her interests include reading, rock music, reality tv, films and singing in her band, Psycho Kiss. She lives in Skewen with her husband, Jonathan and sons, Elis and Ioan
