Offer same debt write-off to the Ambulance Trust - says Peter Black

Commenting on the Health Minister's announcement to cancel Hywel Dda's historic debt, Peter Black, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Health Minister:

"Whereas I understand why the Minister has written off this particular debt, it is important that all the new Local Health Boards start work on Thursday on a level playing field.

"The Minister should therefore offer the same debt write-off to all the new LHBs as well as the Ambulance Trust, who are struggling to meet their targets whilst facing having to knock £40m off their budgets over two years."
