Commenting on the reports that there is a dispute over whether the Treasury or the Welsh Assembly Government should pay for the Swine Flu vaccine, Welsh Liberal Democrat Shadow Minister for Health, Peter Black AM said:
"The Welsh Government's priority has to be to ensure that Wales gets it share of the vaccine. If the predictions of 100,000 new cases per day are correct, then there could be serious health risks to the young and elderly."
"Welsh Ministers must confirm that even if this argument continues, that Wales will get our share of the vaccine as soon as is appropriate. There must be no risk of people in Wales having to wait while the two governments squabble."
