Assembly Member comments on closure of Lone Road Post Office, Clydach

Swansea based Welsh Liberal Democrat Assembly Member, Peter Black, has expressed his concern over the decision to close Lone Road Post Office in Clydach, Swansea.

He said:

"This decision is a real blow to the local community and further proof that Labour's closure scheme causes real heartache for many communities in Wales."

"I am particularly worried over the concerns raised by Postwatch Wales over the capacity of Clydach Post Office to cope with the additional customers, as well as the issue of parking and disabled access."

"I hope Post Office Ltd deal with these concerns before Lone Road Post Office closes for the final time."
